Hi everyone,
I'm new to the T-rex (and helis) and I'm trying to set the blade tracking. I'm having trouble doing so. First thing I did was balance the blades iusing a balancer and then I mounted them. According to the instruction manual, it says to adjust either linkage rod A or linkage rod D until you get level tracking. It seems like when adjusting these rods (especially rod A), it's only changing the pitch of the blade. Am I missing something here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the only thing keeping me from trying this thing out. Thanks in advance.

When you adjust the tracking you are changing the pitch of 1 blade. The idea is that 1 blade is lifting more than the other, pitch. So the blade you used to set the tracking with is the blade you set the other to match. The pushrod at the blade grip is for larger adjustments while the pushrod from the swash to the mixing arm ios for smaller adjustments.

You'll also need to physically hover your helicopter to ensure tracking is right. Checking it on the ground rarely works. Tracking on the ground and in the air are almost always different.

Makes sense...more force on the blades. Thanks for the advice, I'll make sure I do that.
I was able to get it tracking right last night (on the ground). I found that my problem was with swashplate and
flybar not being level to begin with, throwing off everything.
