I have had my trex se for about 6 weeks now all going fine just basic hovering and moving around but today for no reason on second battery i just got into hover and the phone rang i put it down shut throttle off faster than usual put throttle hold on and answered the phone 2 mins later came back out to fly and nothing servos all moving no motor spin up disconected battery reconnected no beeps from esc tried other battery checked all connections nothing has my esc gone bang or what any ideas guys?

Dont want to fork out for esc but if i have 2 its an align 35am by the way.

I am not an electical Guru, but I have noticed that a lot of heat builds in an ESC when the throttle is off. So I think you are probably correct, you fried it. You might want to get a CC next time.
