If you are trying to setup the esc you need to have a linear throttle curve with 0 at low stick 50 at mid and 100 at high stick, put stick to high position wait for the confirmation tone then put stick to low and wait for confirmation tone, you will then be in setup mode. If the esc cant detect full stick throws it wont setup.

on futaba radios channel 3 is for throttle if it needs reversing find reverse in the menu and flick it over, also go into end points on the radio and make sure ch3 is at 100% on both ends.

AND make sure that you remove the pinion gear from the motor before attempting to adjust the ESC. It can go to full throttle at anytime. A good thing that my T-Rex was securely tied down to a large 2x8 or it would have taken off on its own while I was experimenting.

Be safe!

The throttle settings will have alot to do with the ESC initializing and entering program mode. Double check to be sure that everything is plugged in with the correct orrientation, ground-ground and signal-signal, positive is always center.
For more help, check out the vids available at helifreak, http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=12455 the particular vid, will be ESC set up vid and give you a conformation as to sound Qs from the ESC.

ORIGINAL: ground killer

My 6EXH has ch3 as the throttle and ch 4 as the rudder...................... You need to look at your servo and ESC connections again. You have the ESC plugged into your rudder channel. On the front of your TX just to the right of the led display mine has all the channels marked.
Ch 1 - Aileron
Ch 2 - Elevator
Ch 3 - Throttle
Ch 4 - Rudder
Ch 5 - Aux/ Gyro
Ch 6 - pitch

Thats the T6EXHP model............. I am assuming you have the same one. You must have a typo in the manual. Hope that helps a little.
