A good Heli
Hello everyone,
I am learning how to fly a heli now. I have the Sim and it is great and I also bought the Blade CP which sucks because you blow on it and it is hard to control. Which is a good heli to start that is stable to fly and that not any little wind can blow it over easy. When I did learn a bit which the Blade CP but living in FL there is wind even went there appears to be no wind and the Blade is not a good choice for outdoors at all.. I hear thats the T-Rex 450SE V2 is great is there an heli thats Elec. thats a bit bigger?? What would be the cost more or less of a good heli with radio and all the stuff that I would need?
Thanks

Asssuming that you have nothing you would need already, a TREX V2 kt with a Radio (Tx) system, servos and a a good gyro is going to set you back at least $1000, if not more.
You can maybe find a deal here on RCU. People sel their already assembled TREX V2 kits all of the time for various reasons. For me, there was real value in putting everything together myself,. rather than letting someone else do it, but that i smy personality.

The T-Rex is very capable. If you get bored with your flying, there are almost always other maneuvers you can learn.
As for tools, you'll mainly need these for putting it together:
Two 1.5mm hex drivers
2 mm hex driver
2.5mm hex driver
4.0mm nut driver
5.5mm nut driver
Phillips screwdriver
Other tools for setup include:
Ball link pliers
Ball link resizer
Pitch gauge
Blade balancer

T-rex is just awesome, the performance is amazing and it's just unbeliable that when you crash, you just replace the broken parts and it's like brand new again.
