So I was trying to get my radio set up right and somethin happend but I broke another $100 of parts on my xl. When I got it, the guy I bought it from had the gyro up on the top. Whats the best way to change this? Is this where I've hard people grinding on the fram to get it to fit? Are there any other improvments (other than changing everything to metal)?? I get my V2 in a week so I think I might wait and put the radio in it and fix my XL later

I think you should maybe wait on upgrading it, because the 450xl can't be flown as aggresively as the new models it makes a great scale project.

i would go with that, since you already have another bird, that way you will have 2 3d capable birds.
