I found out why I got a Red Canopy demand is higher for the 500CF then 500GF and Align ran out of Yellow so they are useing Red with 500CF
I wanted Red anyways ,,,, my 1st chose I am Happy

Congrats on the sweet Red conopy and getting a 500 from the first batch!
Mine is supposed to ship on Monday and I should have it by Thursday. I can't wait to build and fly this new bird. Now I have to decide on a gyro. My three choices as of right now in order are the Curtis Youngblood Solid-G, Spartan DS760, JR G770 3D. I guess I will have to make up my mind a lot sooner than I had planned!
Good luck with your build and keep us posted!!

I went with the 770 in both 500 and 600N small and holds as good if not better then a 611 and small like a 401
congrates on getting one ,,, you dont know the color till you open it i see now its Yellow Red and Blue as supply goes

I think both red and yellow look nice. I wouldn't care which one I got 
I'm drooling over a TREX500 right now. I want to wait at least 1 year, though, as I have a rule that I never buy the first run of any new product. I work in software, and I know how that stuff works
Still, from the vids, etc. that I've seen, it seems Align did a good job on the heli. I think if any corrections are made down the road, it will likely be minor stuff. It looks so good, that I may go ahead and get one (or at least get on a waiting list) sooner rather than later...
LOL... That's all I need is ANOTHER heli... I think I'll sleep on it for now
