Trex 500 ESC and BEC with Spektrum
I have been reading forums about Spektrum receiver restarts with stock ESC, I have also heard from someone experience this exact problem at my local field with their 500. What are my alternatives? A separate BEC?

I had either brownout or a reset due to electrostatic discharge with my 500 and Spektrum AR6200 receiver last Monday. I was running it on 6V. I was lucky to find all of the parts I needed and they should be here today so I can repair everything tonight. I have heard, over on Helifreak, that switching the BEC to 5.5V should solve the problem so that is what I am going to do for now. I will be running a very cheap set of fiber blades and my beat up red canopy for a while to see what happens.
