well today I had my first over $100.00 crash, sucks but I already ordered the replacement parts! Has anyone ever broken the motor in a crash? well I did today. rotor blades, Main gear(only the top one), skids and cross tubes, banged up my canopy a little, bent flybar, bent feathering shaft, and sand everywhere in the bearings. Is their a way to program the DX7 so I can have a cutoff switch for the power? Thanks in advance!

in the DX7 is the upper-right switch of the Tx (it says HOLD I think in small).... when is ON, the current cuts off and the motor stops spinning, that will save your main gear if you switch it right before crashing., no matter where your throttle stick is, while the HOLD switch (autorotation) is ON, the motor won't spin, servos and gyro will work, that is also used to do autorotations.
