What heli? What's your RPM? Are the blades balanced? Is the tracking good? Is the tail belt tension good? Are the main and feathering shafts bent? Has it been crashed?

up and down could be a tail blade balance problem, belt missing teeth and or a gear problem as well the blade grips need to be tightened the same and both pretty loose [blades should move freely]. possibly belt tension to tight as well.

no need to run 2 post we get it

I have seen this Twice on two seperate 450's on both occasions it is has been a head spead issue, you may have too much pitch and not enough head speed when hovering.

Recheck your pitch then adjust your throttle curve[sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Yep, you need more headspeed.

Also check your tail belt's tension to be sure it is not too tight.

And be sure that your main blade grips are also not too tight.

Make sure the main blades are EQUAL in tightness (looseness) as this could cause a 'hula'

Check the paddles and make sure they are parallel to the cage

What is your current throttle curve?

Mine goes like this ... 0, 40, 65, 85, 100 and I have a 3550kv motor.

The manual states 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 but I feel that is just too low.

I agree with the headspeed issue and the manual throttle curves are low. I had exactly the same problem until I changed the curve. I fly in idle 1 or 2. The lowest (1) curve is 95, 85, 80, 90, 95.

Oh I forgot, I have tight the main blades using only one side, WHY? because the other side came out completely with everything on it and I didnt want to mess around with it....Should I tight both sides at the same time? putting equal force? Yes I have some HULA when the blades are stoping......sorry to ask so many etupid questions but I have being figuring this myself . Manuals are not very specific with this type of issues
Thank you all
Pedro

If you don't put a hex wrench in both screws in the blade grips, it will just continue to turn and not tighten. You NEED to tighten both sides!
