Default 4050kv Align Motor

Has anybody tried the Align 4050kv motor and a Align ESC 35X ? is it a good combination or not ,if so what pinion did you use 11 Tooth or ect? Thanks Stephen

I used it for a while with an 11 tooth pinion.  It was a good motor.  Then after a year and a half of hard flying it decided it no longer wanted to turn.  So now i'm using the 3700 w/ 13 tooth pinion.  Feels about the same.

Isent back the 4050kv Align motor and got the 3700kv , would a 12T be ok since i'm just a sport flyer? Thanks Stephen

Nothing wrong with the Align 3700 kv.  Some on here don't like it.  Mine has been a great performer and reliable.  Curious to see how the new 3700 motor on the 450 pro will compare
