Duro-power 52cc Conversion engine. Got it for $80. I dont know what fuel mixture was used. These readings were taken by Gaines Smith (he did the conversion on this engine). Engine was tached with 2 different meters on different days.
9000+ RPM with an (OLD) dynathrust 20x10 Peak was 9400
Idle 1500Rpm
All up wieght is 6lbs

The plane for this engine is under construction at the moment.. these figures were from a bench test. The engine has never been in the air.

Have now had about another gallon through the 3W now, and is pulling 7320rpm. Still not played with the settings yet though.

I have the same engine and prop. Do you know what your needle settings are? I get about 6900 on a Menz 22x8. I think my high needle is rich. I'm at 1 3/4 high, 1 3/4 low.

RCG 50cc less than 1 gallon through it
Menz 22X8 = 7000 RPM (richened from a peak of about 7200)
Amsoil Saber 100:1 Mixed at 60:1 for now.
IMHO The Menz prop is one of the very best wood props there are.

Hey MJ, that's about right. Mine ranges from 6600 to 6900 on a 23X8 XOAR depending on temps, relative humidity, baro press, etc. Most important, like you said, it's running great!!! It pulls my plane faster with the 22X8 at 7400 but has better pullout for hovering etc with the 23X8.

DLE-55, 15*C, 3200ft ASL, avg. pressure/humidity:
On the 5th tank at 30:1 dino oil:
Hawk 22x8 = 7250rpm
Xoar 23x8 sword = 6750rpm
I've just ordered a 22x8 and 22x10 Xoar to try as well.
EDIT:
Holy cow!!!! New results after 4 gallons of fuel, still at rich 32:1 dino oil. 25*C and 0 wind. Tested and confirmed with 2 tachs and multiple people watching:
Xoar 22x8 = 7410 (peaked at 7480 fully leaned)!!!!! HOLY CRAP THIS THING IS AMAZING. I can't wait to try Stihl synthetic @ 50:1 for even more rpm.
EDIT2: Alright I'm on to the 45:1 Stihl synthetic!!!
Xoar 23x8 = 6780, confirmed with 2 tachs. Love this engine!

Hi!
My MVVS 45cc (Evolution in the US)(Old model with alumium case) turns a Menz 24x8 prop at 6400-6600 rpm using a MVVS small cannister silencer and using 95 okt fuel and 2,5% all synthetic oil.
