dle 55 ...previously had a 22x8 albatross...rpms were insane approaching 8k rpm...went to a 23x8 albatross and got 7380, still too much IMO, it would rip like crazy...settled with mejzlik 23x8 6950 tuned to fly, and very happy

My Feedback: (1)
Update. Tested my DLE-55 (stock exhaust, nearly 8 gallons through it at the time, 40:1 Stihl Ultra synth. since break-in complete, 3500ft asl, +20*C) on a lot of props, but here's the avg-top RPM range depending on weather and how warm the engine is.
22x8 Xoar Sword = 7480RPM
22x8 Hawk = 7250RPM
22x10 Xoar Sword = 6950RPM
22x10 Xoar CF = 6850RPM
23x8 Xoar Sword = 6810RPM
23x8 Mejzlik CF = 6800RPM
As an aside, Mejzlik 23x8 was my favorite for IMAC and had the most upline thrust of all props tested on a 15.5lb 88" 30% Edge. To say the plane flies like a space shuttle is an under statement. It's the most overpowered, best flying plane I've ever flown. The Xoar 23x8 seemed to be pretty good as well and would likely be a good 3D prop for slightly better spool-up than the CF Mejzlik. Haven't tried a Vess 23 yet.
