Apc 16X6, Byron 5% nitro 18% oil, home brewed quite muffler, about 75 degrees with moderate humidity. 8850 rpm a little rich.

At peak rpm the setup on a Funtana 90 gives 89 db @ 9 ft.

Brian, is yours smooth when doing this, mine is very smooth turning the APC 14x12 at about 8,200.

The engine is smooth and the throttle is very linear. I tried to get the db lower by using a Dubro mount but that was a waste of time. The airframe is like a huge drum. If you talk loud next to the wing it amplifies your voice.
