Charging question
#1
I would like to change out the alkaline cells for rechargeable cells. Would you tell me exactly what parts I need to buy in order to do this? That is, what rechargeable battery holder goes in the Tx, and what wall charger to connect to the TX for charging. What rechargeable batteries are the best to use in your opinion? By the way the my TTx650 doesn't seem to drain alkaline batteries quickly. I just want to go to the rechargeable ones. Thanks a lot.

From the tech notes on the TTX650 transmitter:
May use NiMH battery packs like (HCAM6321) HydriMax Ultra 4.8V. To charge these packs through the input jack on the radio while battery is connected use (TACP0101) adapter. Use charger with banana lead inputs like (DTXP4235) Duratrax Onyx 235.

I just use nimh ray-0 vac 2000 mah rechargeable battries from wal mart etc. they work fine using my spektrum . 4.8 volt charger. You can use and old futaba charger also. Just switch the leads so plus is on the inside. Because futaba plus is on the outside on the 4.8 volt side.

Are you sure, all my Futaba chargers have the outside shell as the ground or negative terminal. Spectrum is the only one I know that has the outside shell as positive.
