I know how you feel. I fell lucky to have a bud soo close to me. And a small track in the back. It's way better than the vids now.

Anyways, I got my neighbor to buy an EP Rustler before I even got my Evaders, but he never drives it, so I think I might take it off his hands for cheap. Stock with a 3000mah 6-cell, all about 2 years old, for $75. Do you think that is too much. It's in perfect condition.

i decided not to sell my truck. i cant sell it after all the crap i put it through. i might just go back into the woods behind my house and make a rc/ dirtbike/ quad track this summer so i can race and beat this punk kid.

evader--->mgt $75 doesnt sound like much at all to me. if he lived near me i would probably buy it. im startig to get into electric. this summer i might pick up an e-maxx if i can finish up my el camino project.

Took my truck out for a run today - and strapped a GPS unit to it... 31.2 MPH top speed, although the tune was slightly off [] It was still pulling wheelies with the .21 though!

Well no suprise its snowing again i havent seen bare pavement in a couple of weeks. havent got to run the mgt yet but i did the brake mod with the fuel tubing and the 4 channel mod. The brake mod sure does help with breaking power but I dident see a difference when I did the 4 channel mod so I swapped out the stock steering servo for the futaba S3305 I had in my evader and now I excellent steering on almost dead batteries Man the MGT is sooo easy to work on I just pop off a few linkages and 5 screws and all the electronics came right off. O and scotty u were right im totaly over the size of it now time to upgrade to a baja

cookie, we knew you couldn't part with the MGT. remember all those good times you had... remember it's first wheelie? the first hop up you bought for, and the first time you ran over a smaller rc with it? hmmm, sounds like me when i first got my mgt and i ran my friend's nitro rustler over with it. lol. love that truck. it's sitting on top of a box with no body and wheels next to my stripped down mt 2.

yeah i went down into the basement where it is and i started to look at it. then i thought about how much it costed me and how much i could get back. that helped me decide to keep it. then the other thing was all the great things that i have done to that truck. jumping the driveway, jumping over a few kids, and all that fun stuff.

i guess you guys scared that tony guy away. he hasnt been back much.

I still haven't forgotten about the review of the STS 30 engine. So far here is the story, first, the people sent me a STS 28 engine so I had to send it back and I think on Thursday is when I received the right engine but after I got ready to run it, we ran into some crazy weather. Its been under 35 degrees for the past week and this week more of the same actually colder so I trying to wait till it at least get around 45 or 50 degrees to break the engine in. I can't control the weather so I hoping soon this crazy weather breaks so I can see what this engine can do. I think I going to buy some new fuel also because the fuel I still got is from last summer. I also put some 40 series big joe wheels on so I probably going to change my steering servo to handle these oversize wheels. I'm still around but since this weather been crazy, I been messing around in other things like video games and stuff. I normally using and do well with trinity 30% monster horsepower fuel but I can't find it at any of the lhs so what fuel everybody else is using.

i run byron's 25% right now. moving up to 30% this year though. i've tried sidewinder 25% and it's decent, but byron's just seems to be much better. i've also used trinity monster HP and i like that too, but i'ma stick to byron's for now.

I never seen any of that fuel around here so I can't try that. They got a lot of good fuels out there but a lot of the 30% fuels don't have a good oil content in it so even though you might get good racing speed from it, your engine don't last very long. I usually like the oil content to be around 16 to 18% but it's sometimes hard to find. The traxxas fuel is I think 18% but when I used it before my nitros ran like garbage. I might just wait till my lhs get some more trinity fuel in. I also like the way this gas smells, not real strong.

Default RE: Monster GT anyone have one?

to much oil can actually harm your engine. It was somewherre that the most effective % of oil was 8 to 12% anything under can harm your engine and anything over dosnt actually do anything, u get the same results as runnin 12% as runnin 18% but with 18 u have more oil so less power and can cause an engine to bog, making u think its rich, u lean it more and then when its runnin at a good performance it can actually be to lean cause of the false tune. If u want a good fuel 12% is a great fuel to use, it has the added protection and wont create a false tune.
