Default Help with Raptor 50 Titan

What are the basic's steps to turn on my heli engine?

Raptor 50 Titan with DX7 radio

I has been practiced with the Sim (Real Flght Sim) for 2 months ago and at this point I feel very familiar with the orientations and maneuvers
I can't find any personal help in my area which can show me step by step how to start up my heli.
I hope you can help me with basic recommendations. My concern is about what are the initial conditions on my radio I should to have for Stat up the engine?
Sorry about that question but I don't want to have some bad experience at the tieme of start up the engine.

Thanks for your help.

Assuming you have your transmitter programmed.............turn the transmitter on first, then the receiver and wait for the gyro to initialize, make sure your throttle is all the way down, activate your throttle hold if you have it set up, then put the glow starter on the plug, make sure the fuel line is unclamped and activate the starter and the engine should fire up. Once the engine is running take the glow starter off.

If your transmitter is not programmed, dont start the heli!!!!

Someone in your area or within a reasonable driving distance has to fly helis.

Check for clubs at http://www.modelaircraft.org
and chopper pilots at
http://www.pilotlocator.net as medic will tell you its worth it even if you have to drive an hour or two.

Thanks for this help helimedic!!
Finally i can start the Engine
But I detect Leak fuel in the muffler during the motor was running as shown in the picture. Looks like some part of fuel does not burned totally
am using Wildcat Helimax (30% Nitro @ 18% Sinthetic oil). is correct this fuel? or need to do some calibrations with in the motor?

thanks again!

Delt, I think you are going to be ok. It is perfectly normal to have that happen. What it is, is the oil content in the fuel. The engine doesnt burn the oil, it just uses it as lubrication and to help cool the engine, then it gets spit out with the exhaust. If you are running rich, which you should be for breaking in the engine, then you will have a little fuel come out as well. Believe me, its no fuel leak if its just coming out of the exhaust.
