Default Best way to remove and repaint foamies?

I'm wanting to try my hand at repainting my foamies but I don't really know the best idea on how to A. Remove the paint B. What paints and how to paint foamies.
I'm going to start on my Parkzone P-47 I figure it's best to start on that before I move to other ones. Any ideas or tips are very helpful. Thanks a ton! Happy flying...

I wouldn't try to remove the paint other than to lightly sand it, then go over the existing paint with the new water based paints

good luck
