I have been flying a Sig LT-40 Arf that when I first put it together I applied the furnish decals that have the sticky backing on them. I have found that these decals are not the best color scheme to be flying with so now I want to put some brighter colors on. Does anybody have a good method to remove these decals without harming the ultracote underneath? Any advice would be appriecated!!

It takes a while, but I took off the decals on my Funtana (40 size) by pealing back a little of the most loose edge. Then I took a paint brush and dipped it in paint thinner. By putting a little pull pressure on the decal and running the brush back and forth across where the decal attaches to the plane, I was able to remove the decals without any damage to the covering on the plane. I would recommend checking on a small spot before going full blast though.
