Default Removing wing-warps

I'm working on a Sig Fazer, and after I finished sheeting the wing LE, one side of the wing ended up with a warp. I'd held the wing down with sandbags while the skin dried.. but....

So now I've used ammonia to dampen the wood with bags holding the wing flat on the table.... not enough. I tried again holding some opposite twist. Ooops, too much, and now the skins are buckling.

What's next?

Default How Much

How much warp are we talking about? Monokote has saved me a bunch of times. Heat and twist, hold till cool. An extra pair of hands helps here. Let me know_bob

We're talking nearly an inch from root to tip along the trailing edge.

You'll brobably have to remove the bottom sheeting, check to see if the warp is still there. If not, pin down level and resheet. If it is still warped shim it so it slightly warped in the opposite direction, pin it down and resheet. This is just one method.
