What about this place. Checkout the gallery for nice looking photos of it. [link=http://www.rcpatternsdirect.com]www.rcpatternsdirect.com[/link]
$250.00 dollars is a lot for a plane stand, don't you think? [X(]

I'd pay $250 for it...if it came with the plane. I believe the correct medical terminology for his condition is "smoking crack".

Jarod

That link wants to save as a htm file which just takes a person to a filelodge page which wants to download the same file again.

Hi All,

I just got back on the forum after some medical problems a couple of years ago. I have seen some of the stands that some of you have made with my plans and they look great. Anyway I noticed some of you have been trying to get copies of the plans, so if you need a copy please email me with your name and email address and I'll get you out a copy.

Happy Flying, Greg Finan

hey greg, great to see you back. i built one of these stands as well. i've got tons of use out of it and countless compliments at the field. i would like to personally thank you for sharing this design for anyone wanting it.

i used cheaper materials on mine just to try it out for a while. the more i use it the more i like it. i'm planning on building another one with some better wood and actually finishing it with varnish and/or polyurethane this time. might be one of my winter projects.

Yup, I've had one of those stands almost 20 years now. I love it! Only thing I'd like better is if the arms were thicker to provide a larger contact area.

I've setup the zip file on some server space that I have access to.

Even though I have it saved here. Credit for the plans are Greg's.

Thanks Dave:
I appreciate it as I'm sure a lot of other folks will. Come on Spring - I'm suffering from a serious case of itchy thumbs!!!
