Default CG How to?

I have a Profile that is still a mystry as to what it is suppost to be. I have it just about ready to fly but have doubts as to setting up the CG on the plane. I have read somewhere or been told there is a general rule of thumb to set it. The wing chord is 18 1/2" from leading edge to trialing edge and 22" to end of aileron. Any suggestions will help.

Six and 1/4" from the leading edge, measured right next to the fuselage,
with the tank empty.

Thanks Flyboy, that is very close to what I had come up with but. So now I can go fly and the plane will perfom perfectly, and not bad landings, or crashes, ??? Thanks again
