Hi,
Normally on my closed loop / pull-pull systems I thread the cable through the crimp, then through the clevis adjuster then back through the crimp. I crimp it then cover it with the heat shrink.
I've just tried a Dubro one as the clevis / adjuster is a much better fit, but can only get the cable through the crimp once. However I have something called a Rigging Coupler. Could someone please tell me what this is and where it goes etc.
Many thanks
Tom

I use the rigging couplers to adjust the wire tension. Screw the coupler into the clevis; got to use Lock-Tite or they will turn out. I prefer the HD Safety-Lock clevis or Swivel Ball Links; don't need Lock-Tite with those. I suggest you run the wire through the crimp, through the coupler eye, through the crimp, loop OVER the crimp and run it through, again. If the crimp is too small to loop back through, cut short lengths of brass tube to use as crimps instead. I noticed the crimps that come with Dubro's .032" wire is sometimes too small to use. They were probably for the .020" wire. I hope this helps.
