Put a tie wrap on the end of the handle. Keeps it from rolling. Got this tip from a hobby mag.

OUCH.. hope it heals quickly for you. Been there and done that too. MY worst was using a 1/8" drill bit in a dremel to drill a couple holes for my Cap 21's tailwheel assembly. Stupid me was holding the fuse by the tail with my middle finger apparently right behind the hole I was drilling. It was spinning fast enough to cauterize the hole it drilled into my finger so it didn't bleed [:'(] . Lost a slight bit of touch in that finger. 20 some odd years later you can still see the round scar
