Here's a box I made to store, transport, clean and repair my Kadet Senior. There's plenty of room for paper towels and cleaning supplies and it doesn't take up that much room.
Whattaya think? I have more pic's of Kadet in my Photo Gallery.

Actually, the white trim stands out pretty good and so far I haven't had any trouble seeing it. Is that your Rod in the avatar image?

The box looks good. So does the Kadet.
By the way, many years ago when I had one of the first, the cowl was wood. Looks like yours is not. Is that standard issue now?
Also notice you've added ailerons and bolt on wings. Have they chucked the rubber bands too?
Just curious.

This is SIG's new Kadet Senior "ARF" kit which sports barn door ailerons, less wing dihedral, bolt down wings and a fiberglass cowl. The wingspan has also been stretched to about 80-1/2" from the 78" of the "BIY" kits.
Even though it's an ARF you can still make as many modifications to it that you would like. Some hard core BIYer's will look at this kit and see where some strength modifications could or should be made. I made some but I didn't get as crazy with it like some people have. I've read where some people removed the covering, put in ten pounds of additional wood, dipped the plane in a vat of glue and then recovered it in fluorescent pink color so they could see it better. Whatever butters your biscuit I guess.

Thanks for that info, david a.
In any case, your plane looks real nice. And it's interesting to see real frame constrcution in an ARF.
If it's anywhere close to the original BUY , it'll be great.

The tail wheel wire was bent from 1/8 music wire. At the top (in fuselage) there is a large metal servo arm secured to a wheel collar that is tightened to the wire. A 256 pull-pull system connects the tail wheel arm to the rudder servo.

How does that blue and white plane stand out in a blue and white sky?

A friend at the field has his plane covered in a deep yellow color and I think it looks good. A yellow and black checker board under the wings would look pretty tough too.
