Default Needle Valve Extension

I have a Webra 1.20 Speed engine. The high speed needle valve has a slot for a screw driver instead of the normal hole for an extension. Besides drilling a hole in the needle valve, is there a way to make a needle valve extension so that I don't have to use a screw driver to adjust the top end while the engine is running a top speed (dangerous task to find the slot with your fingers so close to the prop)?

Default RE: Needle Valve Extension

Remove the knob. install a piece of brass tubing over the shaft, add an extension and either silver solder or swedge the whole thing together. If the knob is part of the shaft (one of the long types that is knurled, use a piece of tubing that will force fit over the knob, and use a piece of pushrod tubing for an extension.
