I want to repaint a plane that has a camo pattern. Can I use Scotch tape on edges of the old pattern so I can see to cut the curves? WLJ

That or packaging tape may work, you could also use black electricial tape and bend it around as you go. Best bet would be to use 3M vinyle tape from auto parts store or frisket paper/ clear contact paper from craft store.
