Default Servo Speed Control

For what it is worth,,, I just located a firm that makes dual servo speed control units for $15.00 dollars. Also have very good prices on extension cables. The shipping rate can be cut even further if all you want is some parts that come in under 3 oz (ask them about it). The best price I'd seen so far was $36.00 so this was a pleasant surprise.

I was a little concerned at first that my analog servos might not work with the unit but they said it works with analog as well as digital. I am going to use one to control flap speed on my latest kit (I prefer to use the landing gear switch rather than the knob)

Regards

I buy these... they work great for all servo's except the retracts.

What I like the most is it is light and easy to use.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that one.

The unit I mentioned would allow you to control two separate receiver channels and up to 4 servos (if they are hooked to "Y" harnesses). The drawback though is there is only one speed pot so all servos would operate at same speed.

Yes if you Y-connect... both will will operate off the servo slow down. I really like it, I ordered a bunch of them so I have them on hand for future projects.

So I guess this wasn't what you were looking for?

I tried.

Why not just use the servo speed setting built into your transmitter programming and save the added hardware and expense.

Some people have non-computer transmitters or transmitters that are not capable of slow servo movement

How do you slow down Non-Proportional Retract servos?

Does the DX7 have this feature? If it does, I can't find it.
