you might try lighter fluid to disolve the glue of the stickers, test a area of the paint first to make sure it wont distroy your paint

I was given a plane covered in In and Out stickers, I used my heat gun to soften the glue then peeled them off. Some types of stickers you can rub on some acetone with a rag and give it a couple of minutes for the glue to soften then peel. Good luck with your mess!!

I'll tell you some stuff from restoreing plastic scale models like Revell, Monogram, AMT etc. Auto brake fluid. I recently bought a Cox "Hyper Viper" airplane with some of the most outrageous, nausiating graphics I have ever seen. Gone with brake fluid and no damage to the plastic fuselage and tail feathers. I hate WD40 but sometimes it will remove sicky stickers from stuff. You didn't say waht the stuff is made of you want to remove. If you use lighter fluid as one gentleman suggested, use Ronsonol NOT ZIPPO. Zippo is very aggressive but a great lighter fluid. It may damage your base finish. Actually both will, but Zippo is really nasty. Heat can work if you are careful. I just got an ARF for Xmas with some wierd color iron-on plastic trim that came off nicely with my lady's hair dryer followed-up with a paper towel and lacquer thinner to remove the remaining adhesive.

Just go slow and experiment.

Good luck,
Bill

Light heat to loosen, then WD 40 to remove the residue.
