Did you notice the flashing receiver light? That means the voltage dropped below cutoff at some point. Could be the motor dropped the voltage to low for the receiver to operate.

Great idea..simple and easily done. I just added comment on his Youtube site . I suggested that he could simulate motor sounds, too. ...by putting a "drum" in place of using only the plane's fuse. Rich
