If you have to iron Monokote on Monokote, TURN THE HEAT UP HIGH!!! A guy in another forum gave me that advice and it works. You just have to put up with a few minor bubbles. You can always take a needle and pop the small bubble and iron it down quickly.

I don't like any bubbles. Windex, then squeegee the bubbles out, LOW heat around the edges, then brush (yes, brush) a light coat of clear Lusterkote around the edges. Works everytime, nothing lifts later. Been doing this for years.

First time post on this thread. I love that pic of the flag on your plane. Can you tell me how you laid that design out? I would love to try my hand at that. What colors were laid down first and how did you do the shadowing. I'm new at covering but would love to experiment with this design. Any details would be appreciated.

awesome..... love the 3d flag. I am building a GP extra 300s .60 with a DLE 20cc and Ive been wondering what to do for covering, this has gave me loads of ideas, know to pick one and stick to it.
