thanks texx... no video yet but i will surely do one...this crawler is really impressive...lots of torque and even with the small tyres it can almost go anywhere. I modified my garden rock course and made it a lot harder and with this one i still managed to find passable routes...
BTW after posting my earlier post today i went to try my new bright hehe... battery still had charge...i fitted the disco body again and now its ready for my kid hehe... not ready to sacrifice my custom made landy bodies yet LOL

Hey Texx, does Yellow Crawler still have the stock motors, or did you upgrade the motors along with the 4 th gear mod? Does anyone know where to get either a gear that will work for the 4 th gear mod or motors to fit a newbright?

YES ..
YELLOW-CRAWLER still has its stock motor ..
With the 4 th gear, the motor is strong enough ..
Both 4 th gear, comes from a war tank used ..
In this war tank, there are two 4 th gears, and 2 motor 280 ..

Do you know of any other rc's for sure that have the 4 th gear that I need or two of them and possibly some 280 motors? Thanks for the help texx, so did you cut off the old gear mounts or how did you mount it into the axle? Appreciate all the input

I am new to posting and threads, I tried copying and pasting 4 TH GEAR PICS into the search engine but it didn't find anything. What am I doing wrong? Could you copy and paste a link Texx? Thanks as usual for the help, I can't wait to get to work and post up some pics of my crawler.

I am trying to get a 9 tooth pinion off of a new can I pulled out of a 1/10th scale NB Corvette but it will not come off the motor shaft. What do I have to do? Will the pinions on my rockcrawler motors give me the same problems? Texx, where did you get your 9 tooth pinion from and how did you get it put on? Thanks as usual
