Thanks guys! Yeah.............i know its better with the body off, i just dread doing it sometimes, but i'll go ahead and make the effort for you guys since you've shown some kind interest. Lemme get some time here in the next day or so. The suspension was made with aluminum "u" shape stock and i just cut 'em and drilles holes where i needed them, then bolted them together. The front suspension still has the stock shocks that i cut and stretched for a little softness, then i added Duratrax warhead shocks........they are nice big 6.5 inch aluminum threaded shocks that i ran into a bunch of a while back on ebay..........i could get a set of EIGHT for $19!! I went ahead and got three sets. The rear suspension is a quad shock setup (see the rear photo), and as you can see i made the rear suspension where it would swivel and twist by using aluminum rods with holes drilled and rubber bushings for flex. The motor was originally a little 380 can motor, now its got a big 540 size 20 turn that i fit with just a little modding to the mount. It has a two speed tranny and will really zip along in high gear. I found a 1/6 scale store online and bought all the backpacks and gas cans and stuff and threw them on top of my custom made roof rack, along with a spare tire and wheel. The whole undercarriage is painted with a textured paint then flat black was added over it. It took me quite some time, and it was my first effort at a toy build. I also drill through the drive shafts and insert small pins thru the wheel mounts the stop the stripping of the wheels, that takes a little patience............beleive me. Thanks, i'll get more photos!

If you are referring to my Hummer, then no its not 4 wheel drive. It comes from new bright as a 2 wheel drive. It has however, a working diff and now with the full suspension travel it now has as well the twisting ability it stays on all fours and doesnt get hung up that bad. I DONT take it rock climbing.............its top heavy and it wasnt built for that, Texx's rigs are the ones a person would tackle rocks with. I made it to look like a semi scale rig with higher end rc components for proportional speed and steering etc...........
