Thank rebuilder for the comment ..

It is true that the front suspension works very well ..

I am lucky to have had in my Possession, two springs (which come from another rc / INTRUDER toy, buy as spare / parts).

BIG-crawler has a system ESC FUTABA ,

The price for the kit FUTABA was very reasonable (( Tower's Low Price $84.99 .. $125.00 CANADA ))

(( I believe that this item, no longer sold in kit form.))

This system works very well ..

I installed in POLARIS..

1 stock JEEP motor 351 and electronic system BIG-CRAWLER/JEEP 1/6 NEWBRIGHT/351 MOTOR ....

+ Stock servo JEEP 1/6 .... It works very well ..

Plastic bag ... for water ...

But you are right, an ESC system is really the best .. And I could install a bigger motor ..

Shopping on ebay is good, but transportation to QUEBEC.QUEBEC CITY, is really quite expensive. I'll wait a bit ..[]

On my video, there are many footprints in the snow, and it is in these footsteps, my POLARIS fell. []

The weight driver is not excessive, but l, remove, would certainly be good for the CG.[8D]

The place is where the second battery gives no chance for CG ..

I will find solutions to these probem..

Thank for the comments ..

PS ...
Separate me from my driver, I would grieve.[][]

My Polaris is my taste for now ..

An ESC system would be welcome, and a bigger motor, but I'll wait a bit .[].

I made major mods on my Polaris, with the means I possessed, and his behavior on the snow is fair .[sm=thumbup.gif]

I'm going to tour in flea markets and tried to find a RC/TOY, interesting ..

At this point, I find my POLARIS, $ 15.00.

################################################## #

Here are the mods made to my POLARIS ..

1 .. stock motor change for, 351 Newbright 1 / 6 Jeep.
2 .. change stock electrical panel, for, electrical panel Jeep 1 / 6 + quench it
3 .. change stock servo for, servo Jeep 1 / 6 (automatic return to center)
4 .. stretch belt..(( NEYOU86..MODS ))
5 .. install new spring/shock .. from a INTRUDER rc-radio-shack
6 .. install a second battery in parallel (between the legs of the driver)
7 .. install a security bar for the switch (on-off)
8 .. install (8) metal rods on the roll of training,..(( NEYOU86..MODS ))
9 .. install cooling-plate on motor..
10. Drill ventilation hatch on the cabin .. for cooling / motor.

..... and everything is proportional speed ..[8D]

texx i got a good and easy mod for you. make wear bars in the skis. i did it and it has made my skis last alot longer and it turns better on ice. drill a hole in the ski then insert a wire through the hole then drill another hole and insert the piece of wire in that hole too.
this is what one looks like on a real snowmobile. http://www.bcnorth.ca/magazine/pages...ce/JohnSki.jpg
it is the metal bar in the center of the ski
if u need any help or pictures let me know

HELLO ..

(( They are no big mods, but do not do, surely bring problems ))

To prevent overheating of the motor, I reinstall the cooling-plate on the motor, and I also cut a ventilation openings on the cab.

This will certainly help ..

And I install a stop arm on the switch panel Electric ..

This will prevent the switch to accidentally put in the position (on).

texx, does your snowmoible have plenty of power? it looks like it does. you can put a larger pinion on your motor to get it a bit faster

neyou86 ..

I install a pinion 8 tooth ..

The stock pinion had 12 tooth .. [X(]

10 or 12 tooth would be good, without losing too much power ?

PS...

The POLARIS, reverses itself quite easily ..

I think that the shock is too soft (replace the spring, with little stiffer spring, might be good) and the second battery is placed too high .. I think ..
