Default Help...Want to switch over to 72mHz RC and keep elec. sound

I am working on a NB 1/6 Hummer. I have totally removed the body from the chassis and taken a stock Traxxas Stampede frame and stretched it 6 1/2" and reduced the tire size to make the Hummer more scale like. I will be running the Hummer on 72mHz RC control and want to keep the original sounds that were available on the hummer electronic board.

Anyone accomplished this ?

It is illegal to run 72 mHz on ground vehicles. It is an Air frequency only in the USA. Not worth the risk. You can use 27 AM or FM or 75 mHz or 2.4 systems.

I'm thinking keep that board's wires for sound on, take off the ones for reciver and get one of these for the TX/RX-http://www.nitrorcx.com/79p-gt2-blue.html2.4 GHZ will not interfere with any radio signal in the world. Pretty cool, eh?
