I'm going to order the dewalt as soon as I get paid.. Will this servo work as a good single servo it's spendy but adds up to the same as the two hitecs with more torque and a little bit smaller the the hitecs as well. And it looks like it will bolt right on.

Well this is the Dimensions(mm):  40.3x20.2x37.2 of that servo and this is the 1s in mine...
Size in Millimeters:41.8 x 21.0 x 40.0
So it will be close but yeah it should fit fine.

I get to do mine too but I have to find out what's wrong with it. After I put my front end back one the other day I went n drove it everything was good to go and the all of a sudden the truck just stopped and when I hit the throttle it makes this terrible grinding noise. If I hold the throttle lightly the truck will move but if I give it anymore it just makes that noise. I'm waiting till I get paid to rip into it. If anyone knows whats wrong please let me know.

Its either a stipped gear or blown bearing. Altho u shouldnt have any blown bearings being that its only what 2-3 weeks old.

Yeah it's almost three weeks old. I'm hoping its something I planned on replacing regardless like the drive shaft or something.

That's a decent plane beast but the only down fall is that when you get comfortable flying it and want to begin more acrobatic maneuvers such as barrel rolls and loops the planes ACT (anti crash technologies) will fight you the entire way and make it near impossable to do this. Which flying the plane you will pick up rather quickly its the landing part you will need to figure out lol. The piper cub style plane is a great choice for a beginning pilot I honestly would keep looking around and reading reviews and forums on beginner air crafts. I'm guessing your new to planes judging the plane you found. There are a lot of very knowledgable people here on RCU. Most of them will tell you to buy a sim but those get speedy especially if you end up hating flying. I will look tonight a bit and pm you a couple good ideas as to where I would start.

I figured out what had happend the bearing in the spur gear blew up. I replaced it and not 15 min into my next run the two bearing at the rear driveline went. Does anyone know of better more sealed bearings then the stock ones I'm willing to pay more for them if I have to as its always wet here I don't want to have the open this thing up for bearings every time I take her out.

Does anyone have a link to where you guys are buying the DEWALT motor? What else is needed to get it together and running and what kind of performance should I expect to pick up? Thanks for the help.

I did some creek bashing at Castlewood State Park Last week with the Go Pro Hero 2, I'll get a video put together and post it up soon.

This is where I got mine...http://kershawdesigns.com/Products-Summit.htm.

I got it with the 18t pinion and it goes around 30mph now. Which is a perfect speed for the summit imo. Lot more torque. 5 Star rating from me!

Thanks man! You are running 2S lipo's as well and get 30 mph? This motor is good for dunking in some water as well right? I like to creek bash lately lol.

What do you have the 820 or 700HO motor?

Did you purchase their summit center dog bone kit as well? Any feedback on that?

Anyone done the duel motor swap? How much faster is it than the single?

Or is a single just as good etc?

Well I did it... New batts and a dewalt on the way. I think I'm going to try to do the mod to mount the new motor to the stock mount.
