yes, it will make changes. but it should say on the box or web site where the changes will happen. the siro bb will give more bottom end because thats what the enginers designed it to do. this pipe you have will change it, but theres no telling where. i have heard it is the smaller the pipe the more top end but i dont know if it is true. and the tuning will change with the new pipe. good luck, and keep us posted.

Is it running good? If it is then your good to go. If it is running like crap then you need to tune it.

If the BB pipe is alittle more than you'd like to spend I would suggest the Golden Horizon Tuned pipe , cost is about 30. bux, has the same bend as the stock pipe and comes in silver and blue and has great low end and mid range, requires minor H/S tuning, RED

I take it that the smaller the pipe the better top end because of the fact you're creating more back pressure to push fuel to the engine, faster.

And low end on all engines are usually rich, so if you have a larger pipe, you're creating less back pressure, pushing less fuel in the engine, inevatably leaning out the mixture to create better low end, but at top end it cannot produce the pressure for higher rev's.

Correct? Or am I thinking totally wrong?

Don't take that for true because I don't know. It was a logical assumption.

Righty tighty lefty loosy. Loose means you opening the increasing the fuel to air ratio making it richer. Carefull to rich and you will be going through plugs in no time. The oil gets on the plugs coil and burns it up. Right turn does the opposite. Decreases fuel and increases air. Overdoing this will result in overheating and engine damage. Be carefull. Yes you will have power like no other engine. But you will only have the engine for half the time. I recomend small increments of change and then driving it a little letting the new setting settle in. Also try to tune your engine with half the tank full. When the tank is full the engine tends to be richer and when its almost empty then it leans itself out. Try to tune it with the fuel level about half way, this will make a good average during all levels of fuel in the tank.
