T-Maxx Glow plug
Am asking on behalve of a mate. He has a new T-Maxx ( 3 weeks old ) it runs, is fast but he is on this 4th glow plug.
Is this common on the T-Maxx or his state of tune.
If so then what should he do? What is the best / average tune for his RC or is their a site i can check for him?
Thanks in advance.

RE: T-Maxx Glow plug
I don't think it is too rich he has read the manual and tried to tune it as per the book rercomondations. He has been going on about this 3 second pinch test that the book says you must do.
He got it set up and the car ran fine very fast. Cleaned it took it out a few days later and it would not start again, turned screws a bit fiddled with the settings and got it going run it but it keeps stalling. fiddles tries to start it the plug has burnt out. ect, ect......
Is this a hard engine to tune? It seems he can not keep a tune on it or is it him?

Break in burns up a plug too, so that'll figure in, but too rich or too lean is also bad.
I'm coming to like the Megatech Q-Plugs, though, and the one I first put in is still going gangbusters after almost a gallon!! They're designed for MTs/Maxxes specifically (the EZ Start wire fits on the 'post'!!), and they say they designed it for rugged conditions. So far, I believe them.

RE: T-Maxx Glow plug
Yes my mate does on his one sometimes.
When he first got the car the easy start would not work so i lent him my glow plug ignitor while he wait for a new one to turn up. He has since bought one and keeps it spare just in case.
