New engine for my revo, help me choose
I've never upgraded engines but I wanna get my Revo a killer engine and watch it roar. I just bash, I don't race at all so my first upgrade will be a new engine then full alluminum A arms. What I want is something with enough low end torque to get the wheels off the ground with ease and something with reasonably high top end (same or better as the TRX) and I'd also like something reasonably priced, I don't want a giant over kill engine I just want something like I described that's good for bashing in dirt/gravel/hills/high grass/jumps. Thanks alot.

*points to the price* also I'd like a direct drop in so I don't have to spend alot of money just to put it in.

I'm only 14
and that motor is still to big! I think I might get the RB .18 or the Fantom Fr or something.

OS has 2 engines coming out that are direct drop ins for the Revo. Fantom is also updating the FR .18 to be a direct drop in. Not sure about the release date though. I would estimate the price on the Fantom about 150, and the OS expect them to be closer to 200 at release.

For short money if you wait for the Trinity REVO-Lution .28 you will get more bang for your buck. it's going to be about 180 plus 60 for exhaust. 240 al together and it's a direct bolt on now conversion kit needed..

that like should show you both the engine and exhaust ... if not then type [ .28 revo ] into the search feild. when i called Trininty they said that it will be out in 6 weeks or so.

i got a Mach .26 and it raped my tranny lol more than once lol, i'd say if you go bigblock you are going to have to go with a upgraded tranny get a RR top shaft and a forwards only conversion for it then you should have no problems with tranny, i still got stock diffs and my .26 hasn't managed to mess them up yet, i am quite supprosed as i was stripping the metal idler gear before.
