Genesis .46
Anybody ever had a genesis .46? I know this isnt the correct forum, but there isnt really a forum for CEN.
I was offered a trade for my incomplete Savage SS 4.6 for the CEN genesis.. anybody know if its a good truck?

RE: Genesis .46
I've seen the genesis, -even seen one run.
I was not all that impressed.
I would say that you should keep the Savvy and put it back together.
Even though I'm kind of a die hard Traxxas guy, I think the Savage is a great truck. For just goofin around like I do (don't race), I have even considered getting one myself.
Take care man, -have fun.

I would buy a Savage or a Revo if i was you! Friends of me have a Genesis 46 and they are not happy with it, every time after Bashing together is something broken on their Truck. Rims,Lower arms and the clutchbell is making problems on their Truck. And i know a lot of people who one a Genesis 46 and their either not glad with that Truck! I have 2 Savage SS and a Revo and for bashing is Savage the Best!!

Kinda funny, the guy with the genesis trying to offload that hurky thing on you for a nice truck like the Savvy.
Too bad it didn't work!
Put that thing back together and go have a ball.

Ah, come on guys. This may be a Traxxas forum, but part of what makes the Traxxas forum the BEST of all the forums are the unbiased opinions from the members.
If a truck is a true waste of plastic (like the cen genesis), I'm not afraid to boast my opinion about it. However, there are many other really decent rigs out there that make them viable rigs to build.
For the vast majority of us that don't race, trucks like the savage are plenty capable.
If I were racing, I would go with a revo, etc.
It all really boils down to your driving style, and what features you like on your truck. I run a maxx simply because of the superior aftermarket support it has, and the fact that you can basically build it to do just about anything you would want.
I don't have any brand loyalty, and I run a hotrodded t-maxx simply because it's what I want (for the time being anyway!)

I don't care what anyone says, I am extremely pleased with my CEN genesis. It is a generation 3 so I think that makes a big difference. It eats my bros savage and cousins revo alive.

I doubt it gensis is rated at something like 35 mph and revo does 40 plus.
Some guy offered me a genesis for my t-maxx and the genesis needed work to. I was about to take it
