Default Wheel Suggestions for Revo?

My stock Revo rims are in tough shape and I am looking for an upgrade. I don't race (just bash). I need somthing tougher, all four rims have cracks in them and I am really not that hard on them (no more than 3 feet of air and mostly street running). I don't want to spend a bundle, but would like something tough and solid. Suggestions?

Steve

I believe the Traxxas Hurricane wheels are a little stronger. 40 series by Proline would also be a good choice. Just note that if you go with 40 series wheels, you will need 40 series tires. If you get the Traxxas Hurricane wheels, or replacement Geminis, you can use the stock Talons, Sporttraxx, Response, or Panther Python tires.

I was checking out the market place here earlier. There is a guy in there that has a bunch of aluminum rims. I picked up two pair as I bash also. Not bad prices.

I don't know for sure 100% but I put my tires up against my buddies stock tmaxx tires and they looked the same to me and i am pretty sure the hub is the same.

I was gonna upgrade to the 23mm adaptors (not sure if correct) to use a 40 series wheel....Called the beadlock place and was told dont need that because there wheels are the strongest and wont roundoff the stock revo nuts.....

I am still going to get the adapters just because I plan on getting a bigger motor.

You can run Maxx sized OFFSET wheels. The non offset maxx wheels will rub the a arm when you turn.

I installed RPM Clawz with wide offset and TRC Rockzilla tires on it and this kombo is good for bashing. I also bought those Proline 23mm Wheel hubs for my REVO and Savage but i'm waiting for the proline cheyenne weld wheels and big joes to mount and test it!!!
