First Back-Flip
I'm sure it is common for all of you guys but my wife doesn't give a rat's ***** so I figured I'd come tell all of you. I was messin around in this dirt bowl at my apt complex earlier, on one side is a little bit of a jump so I was jumpin that. I really didn't think it had enough throw off it to be able to pull off a back-flip until one time I was on the throttle a lil too long and landed right on the back of the truck. I figured what the hell, next time I jumped it I was full throttle from a dead stop all the way through the jump, pulled it off with about a half second to get off the throttle before landing. It was sweet. Anyway, that's it.

Yep, I forgot to tell you all about the fence I tried to jump, there wasn't enough kick off the jump, slammed into the top line of barbed wire, was hangin there lol. Was pretty funny actually. Out of all the bashin I have done with my REVO, all that is broke on it is a boot on one of the driveshafts.

RE: First Back-Flip
I was thinking about trying a backflip the other day. I'm still too much of a sissy because I don't want to break anything. Maybe I will try one when I bash next weekend.

RE: First Back-Flip
heres a little better explanation, when your coming in get lots of speed about 10 feet out let off some throttle and at abot 5 feet hammer the throttle after you leave the jump hold it untill you finish the rotation then let of the throttle. If you want to do front flips hit the break fully just before leaving the ramp(allot of air helps)

RE: First Back-Flip
I do backflips with my electric ST's all the time, Ive yet to get my T-maxx to do one though [:@]
How big of ramps are yall doing them off of, like how much air do yall get?
I recently broke my ramp with my T-maxx, but my electric ST's were getting like 15 feet of air off it at WOT and my T-maxx only like 7-8 feet (at however fast it could up to from the other side of the street to my front yard).
Best Ive got my T-maxx to do was land on its nose

RE: First Back-Flip
The ramp I'm goin off of isn't really a ramp, it's just a pile of dirt and I'm gettin about 3 feet of air. Just BARELY enough time to get around.

RE: First Back-Flip
it helps to hit the ramp before your truck hits the second speed, that way when it hits second, it will get a sudden burst of speed and it will make it through a rotation.
