I have used similar Amsoil Metal Protector, it is a displacer just like WD-40 and it hasnt seemed to hurt them... although im not certain of WD-40. Amsoil is a fully synthetic MEtal Protector... Good Luck

just so you know, wd-40 likes to get stuff sticky. So your motors will get dirt stuck in them, and it will be hard to clean the dirt out of them... invest in some motor cleaner... its only like 6 bucks at the LHS, and it will last quite a while.

The wd-40 i use doesnt get stick. It dries off and makes my plastic look like new. And on my brothers electric it doesnt get any more dirty than usual

He's right, wd-40 leaves a film that attracts and holds dust. It may not feel sticky to your fingers, but it is sticky to dust. Electric motor cleaner is ideal, or if you wanna save some money, automotive carb cleaner or brake parts cleaner will also work.

Be careful with brake cleaners and such, some will harm the plastics on your car.
This is what you need-- http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXFWJ4&P=ML
If your in good with anyone at your local country clubs golf course, tell them to get you some motor cleaner They should have it for the golf carts.
