Default How much faster is an OS.18 CVR than a Pro15?

I'm going to be getting a new engine soon for my TMAXX and was wondering if it would be worth it to get a .18CVR. I mean, will it be a lot faster than a Pro15? AND will it pull wheelies? I'd like to get the .18TM but I don't think I'd be able to afford it. I've got a bunch of other stuff to fix for race season...

Another quick question: if I get the .18CVR-X with slide carb and standard crank, I'll need to get the slide carb bellcrank for the TMAXX 2.5 and I would have to grind the crank right?

thanks in advance

Yep the os 18 cv-r is off the hook you wont be disapointed. The 2.5 has 60% more power than the pro.15 and the o.s will walk all over any 2.5 maxx.

wicked! that's what I want to hear!

so I need to go with the one with a rotary carb and short crankshaft? Can I get one with the short crank and slide carb. I just like slide carbs better. I always have a problem getting my rotary carbs to go to full throttle. I never seem to have enough travel on my servos...

My epic .18 wasnt that much FASTER per say. but had easly twice as much power/torque. Meaning wheelies, mad curb climbs, etc.

you WONT be disaponted.

(like they said go with the rotary carb as its a direct replacement for the pro.15)

just a quick question. when you guys are talking about the pro 15, are you talking about the stock engine on the 1st gen tmaxx? I just picked one up and want to drop a good but easy to use engine for a newb (ME).

Thx
