I don't think that you can use the same clutch and flywheel set up from the 2.5r for a bb like the Mach .26/.28.
Also, you'll have to get a different engine mount to put a bb on the Revo and maybe some other stuff.

I agree get the RB TM323. Drop in. For a bb set up your looking at $550+ even tho u can get motors for around 200. You get a motor for $200, Qoncepts BB (only kit that doesn't brake after 2 mins) which is $100. Pipe and clutch $100. RD Starter box $150.

I dont get it, what are you guys breaking on the traxxas big block kit ? The motor mount or what? Ive never had a prob with mine. Maybe Im just lucky, I dunno. As for the clutch thing, I dont know about the mach 26-28 but I had a stock clutch on a Collari 30 and it worked pretty good. I was especially surprised. If your gonna big block it, redrill the holes that mount your trans 1/4inch forward, then you can run an 1/8th scale buggy clutch. Cheaper than buying a fance 1/10 scale clutch, like the Werks 4 show Adj. gimmie a brake, who's got 90 bucks for a clutch setup.

For the same price you can get the RB TM323 with a tune pipe. Plus its got more power

i have to agree, the RBTM323 is a 45 minute drop in install with all you need and it rocks. no extra pieces need to be bought. and it makes more bottom end power than a os 18 or picco .26-28.

You could also modd your 2.5r and get mad power from it,it would be cheaper then buying a new engine.A modded 2.5r has more power then a .18 if its modded correctly.[8D]

Definatly get the RB TM323, I wouldn't waste money on the O.S. unless you are racing. If it's just bashing and you want insane power, get the RB.
