I would personally put some Deans connectors on the there. Female for the battery, male for the ESC. You can order the set from Tower and solder them yourself.

I won't say too much on the motor/ESC combo since I haven't used anything similar. I am running a GTB 5.5 right now and it is awesome. Have ya checked EBAY or some classifieds on a site like this for a used one? You may get some nice hop ups to boot.

Good truck though. I like it better than my nitro with the brushless in it.
