T-maxx motor swap question???????
Hey, The bad news is I've got a t-maxx with the old pro .15 in it[&o] The good news is that Ive also got a spare TRX3.3 laying around Anyway, my question is; I just realized that I will be switching from a rotery carb to a slide carb. Is thier some kind of kit or parts you can buy for the conversion? Or do i have to custom mod somthing. If I do, how should I go about that?
All help is greatly apprechiated, Thanks

Traxxas makes a conversion kit for that. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDAJ7&P=7
I would upgrade the axle shafts and center driveshafts while you're at it.

That would work, but I already have a pipe and header which makes up more then half of the tower hobbies conversion kit.
All I need is throttle linkage stuff...

RE: T-maxx motor swap question???????
I've got a Pro.15 Maxx that I upgraded to a 2.5r a year ago. Didn't upgrade any thing else and I've yet to break a single part. No twisted driveshafts, nothing. I know the 3.3 is more powerful than the 2.5 but still, the drive train has held up better than I thought or was told it would.
