revo 3.3 vs savage
am yhinking of buying a revo 3.3, am sick of the savage poor spur gear system even with steel spur, can you guys tell me if the revo has any problems like the savage? will it take a 28 size engine or will this be too much power? thanks

both are great trucks... and both can strip spur gears with incorrect mesh (what I believe you are referring to by "poor spur gear system"). I think I've only stripped 2 spurs in 2 years for my savages and that was my fault because I was in a hurry to go and I didn't torque the mount screws after reassembly from teardown on my savy.
The 3.3 is a great racing truck and also good for moderate bashing. With the 3.3 properly broken in (heat cycle method) it really rips.
