Default Glow plugs for a TM 523

So I'm going out to run my revo later today with a RB tm 523. It runs turbo plugs and I am replacing it before I run it. I have RB concepts 6 and 7 turbo plugs. I'm confused which is better to run on a 42F degree day? 6 or 7? thanx

i think you run according with the fuel you run not the temperature if you running 20% fuel you use a hot plug and if you run 30% run medium plug etc etc etc!

So the hotter would be the 6 or 7? I'm running 20% top fuel.

Personally I would run the 7. The 7 is a cold plug. Using a cold plug will raise the temp of the engine' now not by a huge amount over the medium plug but it will help in raising the temp of the engine. Now some say to use the hotter plug's durring the winter and the colder plugs during the summer but that doesnt make sence to me.

A cold plug will retard the ignition and will raise the temp of the engine.
A medium plug will advance the ignition and will lower the temp of the engine by a little.
A hot plug advances the ignition and will lower the temp of the engine a little more.

But remember that a hot plug will give more performance then a medium and a medium will give you better performance then a cold plug. You have to keep that in mind also.
