TRX 2.5 heads
Will the blue head off a Revo fit the 2,5 engine on a Jato? I have an old Revo engine I dont run anymore and my friend has a Jato, we were porting and polishing the Jato engine and it has the silver colored head on it, which is shorter than the blue head. I was thinking maybe the blue head would help it run cooler than the silver head. Is this worth doing or can it be done at all? Thank You for your help.

As long as both engines are 2.5's the heads are interchangable. The silver cooling head is a cast head and the blue ones are machined. The machined heads are susposed to be better at heat transfer. So, theoretically, the blue head should give improved cooling. I've got one of each engine and never really noticed any difference though. Maybe you will, try it and see.
