I use the Traxxas Response racing tires with a set of stock wheels. Those tires shed 305 grams over the stock tires. That equals almost 3 quarters of a pound.

The Revo Response tires are lighter, and get good traction, but are useless unless you race on a nice, groomed race track. Our local track is pretty rough and I shredded my set. I complained to Traxxas and they sent me some new ones, and those shredded the second time out. I recommend Pro-Line Crimfighters, I use the standard size wheels and tires and they are tough. And hook up nicely on any surface. Just my opinion, best tires on the market right now.

i have always been told that proline wabash wheels with crime fighters are the lightest. but i dont have a revo anymore so i dont know
